John Malki – Senior Attorney

John Malki is a Senior Attorney at Goode, Hemme & Barger APC, representing individuals and businesses in pre-litigation, litigation, and transactional matters. His strong analytical, writing, and advocacy skills have made him a valuable resource to attorneys both inside and outside the firm. His civil practice focuses on: Real Estate Litigation and Transactions (Residential and Commercial), Landlord/Tenant, Title/Escrow, Broker, Debtor/Creditor, Contracts, Business, and general civil litigation.

Mr. Malki’s unique background has provided him with an in-depth knowledge of real estate that few attorneys have. He is a California licensed Real Estate Broker who actively conducted sales and mortgage transactions for several years before becoming an attorney. He has served as an Adjunct Professor of Real Estate Law at Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, teaching Real Estate Transactions and Secured Land Transactions. He brings this experience to bear when representing clients in transactions, mediation, and litigation. His tenacity, creativity, and congenial demeanor have earned him a track record of resolving disputes on favorable terms, avoiding the expense and stress the litigation process causes his clients.

Mr. Malki attended Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctorate cum laude in 2005. He was named to the Honor Roll and National Dean’s List five times. He received the Witkin Award for highest grade in Secured Land Transactions. His diverse background prior to becoming an attorney includes over twenty years of experience in the fields of real estate, automotive, small business, and ministry.
